Industry: Fastener industry (The fastener industry manufactures the hardware devices—such as screws, nuts, bolts, washers, and rivets) / Steel Industry Preferred

The Plant Head will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the manufacturing plant, including production, quality, maintenance, safety, productivity, cost control, manpower, and compliance. The role requires robust leadership and the ability to drive operational excellence while meeting production and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the overall plant operations and manufacturing activities.
- Develop and execute production plans to achieve volume, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Monitor plant KPIs such as OEE, productivity, yield, rejection, downtime, conversion cost, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma, and waste reduction.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards,



statutory requirements, EHS policies, and company procedures.
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Production Planning, Purchase, Stores, HR, and Finance teams.
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programs are implemented effectively.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Control manufacturing costs and improve plant profitability.
- Develop and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure zero-tolerance for unsafe practices.
- Lead audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Recruit, develop, train, and motivate plant personnel.
- Establish performance objectives and conduct regular reviews of departmental teams.
- Manage vendor and contractor performance where applicable.
- Prepare and present regular plant performance reports to senior management.
- Lead crisis management and ensure business continuity during production disruptions.
- Drive automation, process improvement, and technology initiatives where appropriate.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
