Profile: Plant HR & IR

Experience: 4–5 years in manufacturing HR with hands-on Industrial Relations and contract labour exposure.

Roles:

- Act as the full time HR presence at the plant and handle day-to-day plant HR activities.
- Source and mobilise blue-collar/workmen manpower through multiple local channels.
- Build relationships with local contractors, ITIs, referral sources and community contacts.
- Manage contractor manpower and ensure required documentation and compliance.
- Complete joining formalities, employee documentation and induction processes.
- Conduct safety orientation and confidentiality acknowledgements for employees and contract workers.
- Monitor attendance, manpower deployment and payroll inputs.
- Identify early attendance and performance issues and initiate the appropriate warning/improvement process.
- Maintain personnel files, statutory registers and employee documentation in audit-ready condition.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance reconciliation, salary processing and payslip-related activities.




- Verify contractor wage payments and statutory compliance.
- Maintain contractor records, licences, compliance documents, gate registers and daily headcount reconciliation.
- Coordinate with statutory consultants regarding registrations, returns and statutory registers.
- Handle employee grievances and shop-floor communication.
- Manage employee welfare activities including transport, canteen and accommodation.
- Develop employee engagement initiatives to support retention.
- Maintain knowledge of wage and salary benchmarks across the Vapi, Sarigam and Silvassa belt.
- Ensure practical compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Understand the local labour market, availability patterns and reasons for worker attrition.
- Support the development of HR systems and processes for the new plant.

Qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate in HR / MSW / MPM or equivalent
