Job OverviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic, concept-driven Associate Physics Teacher to join our Science Department. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching general Science (with a focus on physical sciences) to middle schoolers (Grades 6–8) and core Physics to high school students (Grades 9–10). You will work alongside senior faculty to build robust conceptual frameworks, guide students through numerical problem-solving, and coordinate practical lab experiments. Classroom
Instruction & Concept Delivery
- Deliver engaging, interactive, and activity-based lessons in Physics/Science mapped to the school’s curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
- Demystify complex physics topics (such as Mechanics, Light, Electricity, and Magnetism) using real-world examples, models, and digital tools.
- Actively bridge the learning curve between Grade 8 general science and the advanced, formula-heavy syllabus of Grades 9 and 10. [1, 2, 3]
2. Co-Teaching & Academic Support
- Assist senior physics educators in preparing standardized lesson plans, study materials, and customized remedial content.
- Conduct special doubt-clearing sessions and provide foundational support to prepare students for school board exams and introductory talent search exams (like NTSE or Science Olympiads).
- Conduct continuous assessments, design mock question papers, and diligently grade answer scripts. [1, 2, 3]
3. Laboratory & Practical Application
- Organize and supervise basic lab experiments, helping students safely navigate apparatus like mirrors, lenses, prisms, and circuit kits.
- Encourage structural learning by guiding students to participate in science exhibitions, fairs, and inter-school competitions. [1]
4. Administrative & Pastoral Care
- Maintain comprehensive records of student attendance, performance metrics, and behavioural logs.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to provide constructive feedback regarding student progress. [1, 2]
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related STEM field (e.g., B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.Tech). A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is highly preferred. [1, 2, 3]
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of teaching experience. This is an associate role, making it ideal for passionate freshers, junior high school teachers, or ed-tech tutors looking to transition into formal schooling. [1, 2]
Pay: ₹13,459.62 - ₹30,000.00 per month
