This role demands a seasoned developer with over 7 years of proven experience in PHP and WordPress development, capable of leading complex projects and delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with custom WordPress themes, plugins, and Elementor, along with a strong understanding of AI tools integrated into web development workflows.

Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing custom websites, WooCommerce functionalities, and API integrations, ensuring adherence to web standards, security protocols, and SEO best practices. You will work closely with project managers, digital marketing teams, and clients to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, demonstrating leadership and ownership throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7+ years of comprehensive experience in PHP and WordPress development. Proficiency in Core PHP, Object-Oriented PHP, and frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or CakePHP is essential. Strong expertise in developing and customizing WooCommerce, Elementor, and Elementor Pro is required, along with the ability to convert static HTML/CSS designs into dynamic, editable Elementor websites.

Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,

Additionally, practical experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and platforms like n8n or Make.com will be considered a significant plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of custom WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and Elementor-based designs, ensuring responsiveness and performance across all devices. Build and enhance applications using Core PHP and frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or CakePHP, adhering to best coding practices. Develop custom WordPress functionalities utilizing hooks, filters, custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields to meet client-specific requirements.

Convert supplied HTML/CSS designs into fully functional, editable Elementor websites, accurately reproducing layouts, typography, colors, and interactions while maintaining fast load times and optimal user experience.

Create reusable Elementor templates, sections, containers, and components, ensuring clean code structure and avoiding unnecessary page-builder bloat. Use custom CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to extend Elementor’s native capabilities where needed, enhancing front-end interactivity and responsiveness. Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals, page speed, caching strategies, and overall performance, ensuring compliance with SEO and AEO standards, including structured data, schema markup, and semantic HTML.

Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, CRMs, and payment gateways, maintaining a focus on web security, platform stability, and accessibility standards. Collaborate with project managers, digital marketing teams, and clients to understand business needs, translating them into reliable, scalable technical solutions. Review code quality, enforce development standards, and estimate effort to meet project deadlines.
