4. Conduct preliminary screenings like taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse).
5. Blood Collection (Venipuncture):
6. Use proper techniques and sterilized equipment to safely draw blood from veins.
7. Select appropriate puncture sites and equipment based on patient factors.
8. Sample Handling and Processing:
9. Accurately label all blood samples with patient information.
10. Ensure samples are handled correctly for transport to the laboratory for analysis.
11. Log and maintain accurate records of specimens and patient data.
12. Workplace Management:
13. Maintain sterile conditions at the workstation to prevent infection.

Organize and maintain phlebotomy supplies and equipment.
