Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medicines as per doctor’s prescription
- Check prescriptions for accuracy and safety
- Counsel patients on dosage, usage, and precautions (in simple terms)
- Maintain proper storage of medicines as per guidelines
- Keep records of medicines, stock, and expiry dates
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff when required
- Handle billing and basic pharmacy software (if applicable)
Skills & Requirements:
- Good knowledge of medicines and pharmacy practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Valuable communication skills
- Ability to work in shifts (if required)
Education & License:
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm
- Registered Pharmacist with State Pharmacy Council
