Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Economics lessons for Classes XI and XII.

- Teach concepts of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, and Statistics for Economics.

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.

- Conduct periodic tests and examinations and evaluate student performance.

- Provide academic support and individual attention to students where required.

- Monitor students' academic progress and maintain appropriate records.

- Prepare students for board examinations through revision, practice, and examination-oriented guidance.

- Use appropriate teaching methodologies, activities, case studies, and real-world examples to make Economics concepts easier to understand.

- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students' academic progress effectively.

- Collaborate with the department/HOD in curriculum planning and academic activities.

- Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, and other academic responsibilities.

- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Educational Qualification

- Master's Degree in Economics from a recognized university.

- B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as per school requirements.

- Candidates with relevant CBSE senior secondary teaching experience will be preferred.

Preferred Experience

- Experience teaching Economics for Classes XI and XII.

- Experience in a CBSE school will be an advantage.

- Candidates with experience preparing students for CBSE Board examinations will be preferred.
