About Unconditional Beauty
Unconditional Beauty is a growing skincare brand built around a simple belief: beauty should feel unconditional, authentic, and accessible.
We are building thoughtfully formulated skincare products with a focus on effective ingredients, skin benefits, and a great customer experience.
As we grow, we're looking for a Performance Marketer who can take ownership of our paid growth — someone who understands numbers, enjoys experimenting with creatives, and knows that performance marketing is much more than simply running ads.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 2–4 years of hands-on experience running paid campaigns, preferably for D2C, skincare, beauty, fashion, or consumer brands.
- Has managed campaigns with real advertising budgets and can confidently discuss campaign performance and learnings.
- Understands numbers as a decision-making tool, not just as reports.
- Can look beyond surface-level metrics and understand why a campaign is performing or underperforming.
- Is naturally curious and constantly looks for ways to improve performance.
- Is comfortable challenging existing approaches and suggesting what could be done differently.
- Is honest enough to say “I don't know yet” when the data isn't clear — and confident enough to say “I think we're doing this wrong” when the data supports it.
- Can write and communicate clearly, as you will work closely with the founder and creative team.
- Genuinely cares about the product and is interested in understanding the customer and the skincare category.
What Will You Do?1. Campaign Management
- Plan, launch, manage, and optimise paid campaigns across Meta and Google Ads.
- Develop audience and campaign strategies based on business objectives.
- Monitor campaigns regularly and optimise budgets, audiences, creatives, placements, and bidding.
- Continuously test and improve campaign performance.
1. Performance Analysis
- Turn performance data into clear business decisions.
- Analyse key metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, CAC and revenue.
- Identify what is working, what isn't, and why.
- Communicate insights and recommendations in simple, understandable language.
1. Creative Strategy
- Work closely with the creative team to determine:
- What creatives we should make
- Which hooks and messages to test
- Which formats to experiment with
- What should be scaled
- What should be stopped
- Use performance data to influence future creative direction.
- Develop a strong understanding of what makes skincare customers click, engage, and purchase.
1. Tracking & Analytics
- Set up and maintain clean performance tracking.
- Work with Meta Pixel, Conversion API (CAPI), GA4 and UTM tracking.
- Ensure campaign data is accurate and actionable.
- Identify tracking gaps and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them.
1. Market & Competitor Research
- Stay updated on what other D2C and skincare brands are doing.
- Research emerging trends, advertising formats, creative approaches, and platform changes.
- Bring new ideas to the table and identify experiments that Unconditional Beauty can test.
1. Reporting
- Prepare a weekly performance report covering:
- What happened
- What changed
- What worked
- What didn't work
- Key learnings
- What we should do next
- Keep reporting focused on actionable insights, rather than just numbers.
What Will Make You Stand Out? You don't need to tick every box, but these will be valuable:
- Interest or previous experience in the skincare / beauty industry.
- Solid willingness to learn and take ownership — we value effort and curiosity as much as experience.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify.
- Experience using Meta Ad Library for competitor and creative research.
- Experience with creative testing frameworks.
- Experience with Email Marketing or WhatsApp Marketing.
- Strong understanding of D2C customer journeys and e-commerce funnels.
- A strong creative eye and the ability to understand why a particular creative works.
- A testing mindset — you're comfortable experimenting, learning, and iterating.
