Job Summary

Mahabir Prefab is looking for an experienced and dynamic PEB Project Engineer – Client Management & Business Development to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) and Structural Steel industry and should be capable of handling both the technical and commercial aspects of projects.

The role involves managing client requirements, conducting site visits, coordinating with design and manufacturing teams, supporting project execution, and contributing to sales and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage client interactions and project discussions from initial enquiry through project execution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to understand site conditions, measurements, technical requirements, and project feasibility.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
- Coordinate closely with design, estimation, production, fabrication, and manufacturing teams to ensure projects are executed as per client requirements.
- Act as the key coordination point between clients, factory/manufacturing teams, and internal departments.
- Understand PEB structures, structural drawings, fabrication processes, materials, and project requirements.
- Prepare, review, and discuss technical and commercial proposals with clients.
- Support business development and sales activities, including identifying new opportunities and converting enquiries into projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve technical and execution-related issues.
- Assist with cost estimation, BOQ preparation, quotations,



and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure production is aligned with project specifications and timelines.
- Support coordination during dispatch and site execution wherever required.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for repeat business and new projects.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the PEB, Pre-Engineered Building, Structural Steel, or related industry .
- Strong technical understanding of PEB systems and structural steel.
- Experience in site inspections, project coordination, and client handling.
- Good understanding of PEB drawings, fabrication, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to confidently interact with clients, contractors, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Understanding of sales, business development, commercial discussions, and negotiations.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with manufacturing, production, design, and estimation teams.
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities and take ownership of projects.
- Good proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering/project management tools.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be technically sound, commercially aware, and confident in client-facing situations . The candidate should be capable of understanding and managing a project across the complete PEB cycle, from client enquiry and site inspection to estimation, design coordination, manufacturing, dispatch, and site execution .
