Job Overview The Packaging Head will be responsible for managing overall packaging operations, ensuring efficient and timely packing of products while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The role includes managing packaging teams, optimizing processes, maintaining equipment efficiency, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily packaging operations and ensure production targets are achieved as per the planned schedule.

Manage and lead packaging operators, contractors, and workers by providing guidance, training, and performance support.

Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling of products as per quality standards and customer requirements.

Monitor packaging machine performance, coordinate with maintenance teams, and minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate production records, packing reports, and required documentation.

Coordinate with production, quality, warehouse, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow and timely dispatches.

Ensure packaging material availability and effective inventory management.





Identify process improvement opportunities to increase productivity, reduce wastage, and optimize costs.

Implement and maintain SOPs, safety practices, and quality procedures in packaging operations.

Handle packaging-related complaints and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and food quality standards.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Engineering or related field.

5-8 years of experience in packaging operations, preferably in FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing industries.

Experience in handling packaging machinery, manpower management, and production operations.

Required Skills

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Good knowledge of packaging processes and production operations.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
