- ITIL incident, problem, change, release, and service-request management
- Solid knowledge of healthcare workflows, HIPAA/privacy practices, documentation, and customer communication
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting Oracle Health Cerner Millennium in a 24x7 production environment
- Cerner/Oracle Health domain training or certifications
- Experience with HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, and Cerner Ignite APIs for Millennium
- Familiarity with release types: Millennium, MPages, CareAware/iBus, Clairvia, 724 Access, FetaLink, Administration,
Operational Reporting, and SkyVue Distribution
- Linux/Windows server, networking, monitoring, and cloud operations experience
- Ability to work with clinicians, pharmacists, laboratory teams, and technical administrators
Key responsibilities
- Provide L1L3 operational support for Oracle Health Cerner Millennium customer environments.
- Monitor application, interface, infrastructure, and cloud-service health; triage incidents based on clinical and business impact.
- Investigate and resolve issues affecting Millennium, MPages, Clairvia, CareAware, OpenLink, FetaLink, EMPI, pharmacy, laboratory, surgical, and reporting solutions.
- Analyze interface failures, HL7 message errors, API issues, connectivity problems, and device-integration incidents.
- Support planned releases, patches, configuration changes, validation, rollback planning, and post-release monitoring.
- Coordinate with Oracle Health engineering, cloud operations, network teams, third-party vendors, and customer stakeholders for complex issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis, document known errors, and drive preventive actions to reduce recurring incidents.
- Support user access, IAM, Citrix access, administrative workflows, and secure handling of protected health information.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, incident records, and service reports.
- Track service levels, recurring risks, capacity, availability, and platform performance.
- Provide clear customer updates during incidents, maintenance windows, and major service events.
- Participate in on-call rotations and major-incident support for critical healthcare systems.
