Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Core Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, optimize, and support enterprise Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Oracle database administration, high availability, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Oracle database environments in enterprise setups.
- Manage database instances, users, roles, privileges, and security configurations.
- Perform database backup, recovery, cloning, and restoration using RMAN.
- Execute point-in-time recovery and support disaster recovery activities.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot performance-related issues.
- Analyze slow-running queries and optimize SQL execution plans.
- Manage Oracle RAC and ASM environments.
- Support database patching,



upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Analyze alert logs, trace files, and database errors to resolve technical issues.
- Provide operational and production database support as required.

Required Skills
- 3–9 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Core DBA.
- Strong experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, and Data Guard.
- Good knowledge of Oracle database backup and recovery.
- Robust understanding of database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Oracle database patching and upgrades.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an enterprise database environment.
