Responsibilities

Role Summary Owns the functional design of the Record to Report footprint across the current and target ERP and acts as the primary analyst counterpart to LinkedIn accounting and close teams. Accountable for ledger and accounting-design integrity and the quality of requirements and options presented to engineering, not coding.

Key Responsibilities - Lead design workshops with controllers and close owners.

- Define ledger, calendar, currency, and chart-of-accounts requirements and hierarchies.
- Specify subledger accounting and intercompany rules.
- Challenge requests that add complexity without accounting benefit.




- Define conversion and reconciliation requirements for balances and open items.
- Author functional specifications, test scenarios, and SOX control documentation.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
- Lead root-cause analysis whenever a ledger issue reaches production.

Required Qualifications - 8+ years in finance systems with deep Record to Report expertise.

- Strong functional command of Oracle General Ledger and Accounting Hub capability.
- Accounting foundation sufficient to challenge a proposed accounting treatment.
- Experience across sustaining support and program delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to take design decisions with controllers.
- Skilled accounting qualification preferred.
