About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented OPT Recruiter to join our US IT Staffing team.

The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, engaging, and onboarding IT professionals, particularly candidates on OPT, CPT, STEM OPT, H4 EAD, GC EAD, H1B and other US work-authorized categories.

Key Responsibilities

- Source IT candidates through LinkedIn, Dice, Indeed, job boards, referrals, social media, and internal databases.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT consultants.
- Identify candidates based on technical skills, experience, location, availability, and work authorization.
- Conduct initial phone/video screening with candidates.
- Understand candidates’ skills, experience, career goals, and job preferences.
- Explain available US job opportunities and recruitment processes.
- Maintain accurate candidate information in the ATS/recruitment database.
- Coordinate with senior recruiters, account managers, and bench sales teams for suitable opportunities.
- Submit qualified candidate profiles to appropriate requirements.
- Follow up with candidates regarding submissions, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Maintain regular communication and strong professional relationships with consultants.
- Assist candidates with interview preparation and coordination.
- Track daily sourcing, calls, submissions, interviews, and placements.
- Meet weekly and monthly recruitment KPIs.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate information and company data.
- Stay updated on US IT staffing practices, technologies, and employment/work-authorization terminology.

Preferred Candidate Profile





- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 0–2 years of recruitment experience; freshers with strong communication skills may apply.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making a high volume of calls and follow-ups.
- Valuable negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Basic understanding of US IT recruitment is an advantage.
- Willingness to work US/night shifts.
- Strong target-oriented and result-driven attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Technical Knowledge – Preferred

Candidates should gradually develop familiarity with technologies such as:
