Vision provides advanced surgical solutions for cataract, refractive errors, squints, and glaucoma, along with medical retina services and dry eye treatment. The clinic places special emphasis on pediatric patients, ensuring age-appropriate care and support for children and their families.

Role Description This is a part time, on-site Ophthalmologist role based in Dwarka. The Ophthalmologist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and provide both medical and surgical care to patients of all ages, including pediatric cases. Daily responsibilities include evaluating patients for cataract, refractive errors, squints, glaucoma, retina conditions, and dry eye disease, recommending appropriate treatment plans, and performing indicated procedures.

The role involves collaborating with optometrists and clinical staff, maintaining accurate medical records, counseling patients and caregivers, and adhering to clinical protocols and quality standards. The Ophthalmologist will also participate in follow-up care, post-operative management,



and patient education to support optimal visual outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in clinical Medicine and evidence-based patient care, with the ability to manage a range of ocular and systemic conditions.
- Expertise in Ophthalmology, including diagnosis and treatment of cataract, refractive errors, squints, glaucoma, retina conditions, and dry eye.
- Competence in Surgery relevant to ophthalmology (e.g., cataract and refractive procedures), with a focus on safety, precision, and patient outcomes.
- Experience with Laser procedures for ophthalmic conditions, ensuring accurate treatment delivery and patient comfort.
- Working knowledge of Optometry principles and collaboration with optometrists for refraction, low vision support, and contact lens management.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with specialization in Ophthalmology (MS/MD/DNB) and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a clinical team, communicate clearly with patients and caregivers, and provide empathetic, inclusive care.
- Experience or interest in pediatric ophthalmology and community eye health initiatives is an advantage.
- Comfort with clinical documentation, use of electronic medical records, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
