Core AML/CTF Operations
- Risk Monitoring: Conduct ongoing AML/CTF risk monitoring for clients and transactions within the APAC scope.
- Alert Management: Review, analyze, and resolve alerts in strict accordance with predefined rules and established procedures.
- Efficiency & Quality: Prioritize and resolve alerts within indicative target timelines, ensuring high standards of analytical quality and completeness.
- Reporting & Escalation: Escalate high-risk alerts to Country Compliance promptly, providing comprehensive supporting documentation and due diligence findings.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records by documenting and uploading all alert analysis results and supporting materials.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Regulatory Alignment: Adhere to APAC procedures, BNP Paribas global policies, and evolving AML/CFT/Sanctions laws and industry best practices.
- Performance Standards: Meet established Quality Assurance (QA) standards and daily alert disposal targets, proactively notifying the Head of APAC Hub regarding potential backlogs.
- Policy Implementation: Support the team in the execution of BNP Paribas procedures and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with team members and relevant stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
- Project Support: Contribute to departmental projects and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required.
- Agility: Demonstrate adaptability to changes in procedures, workflows, and operational scope.
Contributing Responsibilities
1. Operational Risk & Control - Operational Permanent Control (OPC): Actively contribute to the Operations Permanent Control framework to ensure robust risk mitigation and adherence to internal controls.

Service Excellence & Efficiency - Operational Efficiency: Monitor turnaround times (TAT) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize operational efficiency.
Issue Resolution: Proactively manage and resolve customer queries and complaints to ensure high levels of service satisfaction.
3. Client Relationship Management
Stakeholder Support: Partner with MO to identify and address ultimate client needs, ensuring timely resolution of any client-related complaints if any.
4. Data Management & Reporting
Management Information (MIS): Oversee the preparation and timely submission of MIS and regulatory reports to management.
Key Performance Indicators for the Role:
- Alert Clearance Rate: The number of alerts closed within the designated timeframe.
- SLA Compliance: Meeting the deadline for alert processing to avoid backlogs.
- Quality Assurance (QA) Score: The accuracy rate of alert investigations, measured against the established departmental QA threshold.
- Investigation Depth: Ability to perform thorough "deep dives" into customer profiles and transaction histories rather than just surface-level reviews.
- Regulatory Compliance: Zero tolerance for breaches of AML laws, internal policies, or ethical standards.
- Knowledge Updates: Demonstrating updated understanding of evolving AML regulations
- Reporting Accuracy:
Ensuring all internal reports and management escalations are error-free.
Collaboration:
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with Compliance, IT, and Risk teams to align on project goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical support and business end-users.
- Information Flow: Ensure seamless communication of system updates and requirement changes across departments.
- Conflict Resolution: Work with various teams to resolve competing priorities or technical bottlenecks.
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitated workshops between Support and Compliance to improve alert handling.

Specific Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of skilled experience.
- Fluent in English.

- University degree, ideally with Financial Services knowledge.
