The Role

As an Operations Engineer – Wireless Technologies & Meraki, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the delivery of production wireless systems and services. This includes resolving issues,

maintaining high availability, and ensuring performance of Meraki and

Cisco wireless environments. You will be instrumental in proactive network management and optimization, ensuring SLAs are met and exceeded in client-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide operational support for enterprise wireless and networking systems
- Troubleshoot issues related to routing, switching, and wireless connectivity
- Conduct Wi-Fi site surveys and heat map generation for optimal network coverage
- Manage and configure Meraki templates, SSIDs, WLCs, and wireless access points
- Operate and maintain the Meraki dashboard across distributed environments
- Collaborate with internal and client-side cross-functional teams for seamless delivery
- Monitor network health and pre-emptively resolve performance/capacity issues
- Troubleshoot and implement protocols including TCP/IP, VPNs, ACLs,

DNS, DHCP, HSRP





- Manage Layer 2 protocols (LACP, 802.1x, 802.1d/w/s) and Layer 3

routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)

Skills Required

- Minimum 3 years of experience in wireless network operations
- Hands-on experience with Cisco WLC, Meraki dashboard, and Wi-Fi site surveys
- Professional certifications such as CWNA, CWNP, or CCNA Wireless
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities for SSID, WLC, and wireless infrastructure
- In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, and network protocol operations
- Experience with proactive network monitoring and incident resolution.

Positive-to-Have Skills

- Exposure to automation tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Familiarity with enterprise-level security and access control protocols
- Experience working in large-scale distributed or enterprise network environments
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices or experience within ITSM frameworks
