Job Profile Overview :

We are looking for a Safety Officer – EHS responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining Setting, Health & Safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in site safety management, permit-to-work systems, risk assessment, toolbox talks, safety inspections, incident investigation, emergency preparedness and statutory compliance.

Accountable & Responsible for:

1) EHS Management: Implement and monitor EHS requirements for fabrication and erection activities at shop and project sites as per company and client standards.

2) Safety Training & Awareness: Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and orientation for employees, workmen and subcontractors.

3) Risk Assessment & PTW: Prepare/review JSA, SOP, HIRA and risk assessments; manage PTW and ensure strict LOTO compliance for high-risk activities.

4) Site Safety & Equipment Inspection: Monitor fabrication, erection, welding, NDT, hydro testing, lifting, rigging, work-at-height,



confined space and hot work activities; inspect scaffolding, cranes, tools, equipment, gas cylinders and PPE.

5) Incident Management: Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, conduct RCA and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.

6) Compliance & Client Coordination: Coordinate with client EHS teams, conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with the Factories Act, BOCW Act and other applicable regulations.

7) Emergency & Documentation: Conduct mock drills, promote safety culture and maintain EHS records, registers, reports and MIS.

8)Waste Management: Experienced in handling Hazardous/Non-Hazardous Waste Management. Adept with MPCB Norms, return Forms (Form 4, Form 5, Form 7, Form 10, etc.) and their compliance.

Mandatory Skills:

- Workshop Safety Management
- Experience in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Standards and Safety Audits.
- Workplace Safety Management with a focus on achieving Zero LTI.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Compliance with company, client and statutory EHS requirements.
- Timely completion of safety inspections, toolbox talks, inductions and mock drills.
- Timely closure of EHS audit observations and accurate EHS documentation/MIS.
