We are looking for an experienced Odoo ERP Project Manager / Senior Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end Odoo implementation projects, manage client requirements, coordinate delivery teams, and ensure successful ERP adoption.

The ideal candidate will combine strong Odoo functional expertise, business process knowledge, finance understanding, stakeholder management, and ERP project delivery experience.

Overall Experience: 10+ years in ERP, Finance, Business Applications, or related functions preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Odoo ERP Project Management

- Lead complete Odoo ERP implementation life cycles from requirement gathering through configuration, testing, migration, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Define project scope, implementation approach, deliverables, milestones, responsibilities, and project timelines.
- Coordinate functional consultants, developers, internal teams, client stakeholders, and management.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, dependencies, delays, and implementation issues.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, quality standards, and timelines.

2. Business Requirement & GAP Analysis

- Conduct workshops with client stakeholders to understand existing business processes and operational requirements.
- Perform detailed GAP Analysis, Business Process Mapping, and Functional Requirement Analysis.
- Translate business requirements into practical Odoo functional configurations and development requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, standardization, and digitisation.
- Prepare clear functional requirement documents and implementation specifications.

3. Odoo Functional Consulting Provide functional leadership across relevant Odoo applications, including:

- Accounting & Finance
- CRM
- Sales
- Purchase
- Inventory
- Project
- Employees
- Attendances
- Time Off
- Expenses
- HR & Payroll
- Manufacturing / operational modules where applicable

Ensure configurations follow Odoo standard functionality wherever practically possible, while identifying genuine customization requirements separately. 4. Finance & Accounting Process Implementation





- Lead Finance and Accounting requirements including:
- Chart of Accounts
- General Ledger
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Bank and Cash
- Fixed Assets
- Expense Management
- Budgeting
- Financial Reporting
- MIS Reporting
- Cost and Profitability Tracking
- Work with client finance teams to ensure accurate mapping of accounting processes into Odoo.
- Support opening balance migration, financial reconciliation, validation, and go-live readiness.
- Ensure finance-related implementations support proper controls, reporting, auditability, and management visibility.

5. HR & Payroll Functional Implementation

- Manage functional requirements for:
- Employee Master
- Contracts
- Attendance
- Leave / Time Off
- Payroll
- Expenses
- Employee Compliance
- Performance and related HR processes
- Map HR and payroll workflows into structured Odoo configurations.
- Coordinate with clients on master data collection, validation, testing, and user acceptance.

6. Data Migration & Validation

- Plan and supervise ERP master data and transactional data migration activities.
- Coordinate migration of:
- Customers
- Vendors
- Products
- Employees
- Chart of Accounts
- Opening Balances
- Inventory
- HR information
- Other approved business data
- Validate migrated data with business owners before production deployment.
- Ensure migration reconciliation and data quality controls are completed prior to go-live.

7. UAT & Quality Management

- Prepare and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop test scenarios based on actual client business processes.
- Track functional issues, configuration gaps, development fixes, and retesting requirements.
- Ensure critical business processes are validated before production deployment.
- Manage final client sign-off and go-live readiness.

8. Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as a key functional and project coordination point between clients and RIBS Technologies.
- Conduct periodic project review meetings and communicate:
- Project progress
- Open issues
- Risks
- Dependencies
- Pending client inputs
- Upcoming milestones
- Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication and structured documentation.
- Build strong professional relationships with finance teams, HR teams, operational users, management, and project sponsors.

9. Training & Change Management

- Plan and conduct functional training for key users and end users.
- Prepare process documentation, user guides,



and implementation support material where required.
- Assist users during ERP transition and process adoption.
- Support change-management activities to improve system acceptance and user confidence.

10. Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support

- Prepare and manage go-live checklists and cutover activities.
- Coordinate production deployment with functional and technical teams.
- Support users during the stabilization period.
- Monitor post-go-live issues and coordinate timely resolution.
- Conduct implementation reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Odoo Experience

- Strong practical experience in Odoo ERP Functional Consulting and Implementation.
- Experience managing or participating in multiple end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations.
- Strong understanding of Odoo workflows and inter-module integration.
- Experience in requirement gathering, GAP analysis, configuration, UAT, migration, training, and go-live.

Project Management

- Strong ERP project coordination and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple teams, tasks, deliverables, and project dependencies.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid ERP implementation methodologies.
- Strong issue tracking, risk management, documentation, and project governance skills.

Finance Knowledge

- Robust understanding of:
- Accounting
- Financial Management
- Budgeting
- Financial Reporting
- MIS
- Internal Controls
- Audit Requirements
- Previous experience working closely with Finance Managers, CFOs, or accounting teams will be highly valuable.

HR Functional Knowledge

- Good understanding of HR operational processes including:

- Expenses
- Employee Compliance

Business Process Expertise

- Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into structured ERP workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience working across multiple industries will be an advantage.

Communication & Leadership

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to lead client workshops and business discussions confidently.
- Strong coordination skills for working with clients, developers, consultants, and management.
- Ability to explain ERP processes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in senior Finance or ERP leadership positions.
- Experience with ERP-led business digitisation and process transformation projects.
- Experience implementing ERP systems across industries such as:

- Experience working with international or multi-location ERP projects will be an advantage.
