Role Description The Odoo Functional Consultant (3+ yrs) will work in office in Chennai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with clients and internal teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Odoo configurations and workflows. Daily responsibilities include gathering and documenting business processes, designing functional solutions, configuring Odoo modules, and supporting implementation across areas such as finance, inventory, CRM, and other ERP functions. The consultant will conduct system testing, user training, and post-go-live support to ensure smooth adoption and continuous improvement of Odoo solutions.





The role also involves coordinating with technical teams for customizations, preparing functional specifications, and providing consulting insights to optimize business operations and system usage.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements, map processes, and troubleshoot functional issues in Odoo.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders, conduct workshops, prepare documentation, and deliver user training.
- Solid understanding of business processes across domains such as finance, inventory, sales, CRM, and operations, with experience in process mapping and optimization.
- Proven consulting experience, preferably as an Odoo Functional Consultant or ERP Consultant, including client-facing work and solution design.
- Knowledge of finance concepts and ERP financial modules (e.g., accounting, invoicing, budgeting) and their configuration in Odoo.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo functional implementation, configuration, and support.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant Odoo or ERP certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in outsourcing, IT services, or BPO environments is beneficial, along with familiarity with standard SDLC and implementation methodologies.
