We are seeking a skilled IoT Network Solutions Engineer to design,

configure, and support the deployment of our cloud-connected smart device infrastructure. This role focuses on setting up a scalable architecture involving PoE switches, PDUs, gateways, and cellular modems to power and manage edge devices across multiple project sites. Your focus will be on network architecture, system configuration, cloud integration, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and document network architecture for PoE-powered devices,

including power/data layouts and device communication flows

- Configure managed switches, PDUs, and gateways prior to deployment
- Provide LVE contractors with clear installation guides, port maps,

and commissioning checklists

- Set up remote monitoring, power cycling, and alerting through PDU and switch management platforms
- Integrate smart devices with cloud platforms and verify communication health
- Configure VLANs, DHCP, NAT, routing, and firewall rules for segmented, secure networks
- Remotely commission each site, validate performance,



and troubleshoot post-installation issues
- Maintain standard operating procedures and network documentation for scalable replication
- Provide technical support to internal teams during project rollout and ongoing operations

Required Qualifications

- 3–5+ years of experience in network/system integration roles
- Strong hands-on experience with managed PoE switches, PDUs, and gateways
- Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, routing, DHCP,

NAT, and SNMP

- Experience setting up cellular modems or other remote connectivity devices
- Familiarity with cloud-based device platforms, APIs, or remote management dashboards
- Experience writing or interpreting network diagrams, device maps,

and install guides

- Ability to remotely support and commission hardware with minimal onsite involvement
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications like Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Ubiquiti UEWA
- Experience with remote power management
- Exposure to cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools like Zabbix, Datadog, or Ubiquiti Controller for remote monitoring
- Basic scripting (Python, Bash) for automation or integration with monitoring tools
