About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior L3 Network Operations Engineer specializing in Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, and Zscaler to join our dynamic NOC team at Movate. This pivotal role involves acting as an escalation point for complex network incidents, providing expert troubleshooting support, and ensuring the stability and security of our enterprise network infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with L2 engineers, guiding them through advanced troubleshooting procedures, leading major incident investigations, and contributing to continuous service improvement initiatives.

This role primarily supports our operations during EMEA business hours, with occasional participation in weekend or overnight activities to address critical incidents or planned maintenance windows. The position offers a work from home model, providing flexibility while maintaining high standards of service delivery and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise networking, hands-on experience with Zscaler environments, and the ability to mentor and lead technical teams through complex challenges.





Qualifications The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in network operations, with proven expertise in enterprise routing, switching, SD-WAN, and cloud security solutions. Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable. Strong operational knowledge of ITIL processes, incident management, and experience working with ITSM tools like ServiceNow are essential.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, high-pressure environment. Exposure to automation scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Ansible, as well as familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or Zabbix, will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Act as the primary escalation point for complex network, SD-WAN, and Zscaler incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Diagnose and identify incident sources across endpoint, network, identity, firewall, SD-WAN, ISP, and Zscaler components.
- Support and mentor L2 engineers during advanced troubleshooting activities, sharing expertise and best practices.
- Lead technical investigations during major incidents, particularly P1 and P2 cases, coordinating efforts across teams and vendors.
- Provide Level 3 support for enterprise network infrastructure, including SD-WAN and Zscaler services, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities in accordance with established SLAs and operational policies.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and overall service health,



proactively identifying potential issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendor TACs, and service providers to facilitate incident resolution and service continuity.
- Participate in change validation, maintenance windows, and post-change troubleshooting to minimize service impact.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring or significant incidents, contributing to process improvements and preventive measures.
- Create, update, and maintain troubleshooting guides, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles to support team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
