Key Responsibilities

Accept guidance, coaching, and mentorship from fellow developers and leads.

Continue to develop technical skills, qualified skills, and learn about the overall ecosystem.

May represent the development team in cross-team meetings and troubleshooting sessions.

Provide support to the software development leads.

Provide production, incident, and troubleshooting support.

Applies code best practices and standards throughout development cycle.

Collaborate with leads to determine how features, projects, and user stories should be implemented.

Exemplifying professional excellence and driving quality-focused & sustainable deliverables

Contributes to software documentation and user manuals

Complete comprehensive unit testing on all developed/enhanced software and supports deployment of software applications

Implementing standard and high-impact releases

Participating in day-to-day development activities including development testing, documentation, unit testing, and support

Supporting operational health

Clearly communicate progress in user stories and scrum meetings

Actively participate in agile and scrum processes

Conducting system and integration testing

Working with leads to identifying potential risks, devising contingency plans, and resolving issues with innovative technical solutions

Reducing the complexity of our code within our applications by following design patterns, refactoring convoluted code or outdated design, and removing unnecessary code

Ensuring the health of EMD as part of a larger ecosystem

Demonstrating exceptional communication skills that foster a culture of collaboration, personal and team excellence, and articulate, concise dialogue.

Qualifications &





Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or 3+ years of relevant experience in a development role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to collaborate with various teams

Must be able to work under defined constraints

Must encourage and support team empowerment and a sense of shared ownership

Must proactively welcome feedback and experimentation for process or behaviors that are within the team's scope of control

Demonstrates an eagerness to learn

Should be able to do hands-on design, development and unit testing for RESTful services in .NET

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Able to maintain a hybrid work model; physical attendance to Willis or Houston office every week is mandatory

Must have RESTful API experience in .NET 8.0 Preferred

AWS or other Cloud Certifications

Exposure to Data Analytics

Abide by all the project and company guidelines and standards and to ensure that even the team members are doing so

Familiarity with agile principles and means of achieving outcomes, and a willingness to work with agile coaches / scrum masters

Airline Industry technologies and concepts like EMD, PNR, ETKT

Familiarity with payment processing

Familiarity with Angular, Node.JS

Familiarity with Monitoring Software: Data Dog, DynaTrace, Kibana

Familiarity with AWS EKS, ECS, Kubernetes, Route 53, Reddis Cache, IAM Role, S3 Bucket, DynamoDB, Aurora MySQL, SQS/SNS

Solutioning using eventing and asynchronous processes

Solutioning using multithreaded environments

Solutioning using microservices and distributed systems
