Role Description The Nebosh IGC Tutor (freelance) will deliver high-quality instruction to learners preparing for the NEBOSH International General Certificate, primarily through remote teaching. This part-time role involves planning and delivering online sessions, explaining key concepts in occupational health and safety, and guiding learners through course materials, case studies, and exam preparation. The tutor will assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback on assignments and mock exams, and support learners with clarification of doubts via virtual platforms.





Responsibilities also include updating teaching materials to align with NEBOSH standards, collaborating with the academic team, and maintaining accurate records of learner performance.

Qualifications

- Relevant NEBOSH IGC qualification and strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles.
- Proven experience in teaching, training, or tutoring adults, preferably in NEBOSH or similar safety qualifications.
- Ability to design and deliver structured online lessons, including use of virtual classrooms and digital learning tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience in curriculum development, exam preparation, and learner assessment is highly desirable.
- Reliable internet connection and proficiency with common e-learning platforms and productivity software.
- Professional experience in safety, health, or related fields; relevant certifications or memberships are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage part time schedules, and support diverse learners in a remote setting.
