- Analysis of all types of microbiology samples as per relevant test methods.
- Maintenance and internal calibration of instruments, glassware’s related to micro lab and monitoring of microbiologists work.
- Participating in proficiency testing / inter laboratory comparison tests / QC Checks for microbiology parameters.
- Following microbiological procedures / SOPs during cleaning, testing and maintenance of Microbiological Laboratory.
- Handling and maintenance of reference cultures.
- Development of recent methods / validation of test methods if required.
- Planning, understanding and completing the allocated work within the stipulated time.
- Complying with Lab Quality Policy / Objectives.
- Ensuring proper maintenance of quality system documents and records during storage and retrieval.
- Carrying out specific tasks / additional responsibilities as when required.
- Responsible for measurement of uncertainty in their respective functional area.
- Signs the Microbiology Test Reports.
- Provide Training and Monitoring the work of trainee Microbiologists.
