Job Summary

We are looking for a Microbiologist to join our Commercial / Analytical Laboratory at Bagru, Jaipur. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year+ of hands-on experience in microbiology, having experience in the pharmaceutical, analytical testing, or commercial laboratory sector.

The candidate will be responsible for microbiological testing, sample analysis, documentation, laboratory activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable SOPs, quality standards, and laboratory practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform microbiological analysis of samples as per approved methods, specifications, and SOPs.
- Conduct Microbial Limit Tests (MLT), Total Aerobic Microbial Count (TAMC), Total Yeast & Mold Count (TYMC) and other applicable microbiological tests.
- Perform testing of raw materials, finished products, water, environmental samples, and other commercial/analytical samples.
- Prepare culture media, reagents, and solutions as per established procedures.
- Perform media preparation, sterilization, and growth-promotion testing.
- Maintain proper laboratory records, worksheets, test reports, and logbooks.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of analytical results.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, GLP, GMP requirements,



safety procedures, and data-integrity practices.
- Maintain and operate microbiology laboratory equipment as per SOPs.
- Support investigation of abnormal, out-of-specification, or atypical microbiological results.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples, cultures, and laboratory waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the microbiology laboratory.
- Assist in laboratory audits and quality-related activities when required.

Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology or a relevant Life Sciences discipline.
- Candidates with relevant pharmaceutical or analytical laboratory experience will be preferred.

Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 year+ of hands-on experience in Microbiology.
- Experience in a Commercial / Analytical Laboratory or Pharmaceutical Laboratory preferred.
- Knowledge of microbiological testing and laboratory practices.
- Familiarity with SOPs, GLP/GMP, documentation, and data integrity.
- Positive analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a laboratory team.

Candidate Profile The preferred candidate should have practical exposure to microbiological testing and laboratory operations. Candidates from Pharma QC Microbiology, Contract Testing, Commercial Testing, Food/Water Testing, or Analytical Laboratory backgrounds may be considered, depending on their relevant microbiology experience.
