Required Qualifications

- BSc / MSc in Microbiology or Biotechnology

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience

- Experience in a commercial / third-party testing laboratory is preferred.

- Experience in food, water or environmental microbiology is preferred.

- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and microbiological testing methods.

- Positive documentation and communication skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Perform microbiological testing of food, water, environmental and other samples.

- Follow approved microbiological methods, SOPs and laboratory procedures.

- Conduct routine microbiological analysis, identification and enumeration of microorganisms.

- Maintain accurate test records, worksheets and laboratory documentation.

- Perform media preparation, sterilization and quality checks.

- Conduct Growth Promotion Testing (GPT) and other microbiological quality-control activities.

- Work according to ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory requirements.
