Position Title: Medical Affairs Manager (Critical care) / Medical Specialist

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

Medico-Marketing Responsibilities -

- Act as a clinical bridge between HCPs and Organization for specific critical care, supporting its use in hospitals and clinics.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align clinical messaging with brand strategy.
- Conduct product presentations and scientific discussions with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and other Health Care Physicians.
- Analyse market trends, competitor products, and clinical feedback to inform product positioning, product communication and new product identification and development.
- Represent the brand at medical conferences, exhibitions, and academic forums.
- Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for Surgeons, Physicians and nursing staffs.
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals and Medical Association to develop engagement plans
- Ensure compliance with Ethical promotion, infection control and safety standards.

Clinical & Scientific Support –

- Provide expert guidance on wound care protocols, dressing selection, and healing outcomes.
- Support clinical trials, post-market surveillance, and real-world evidence generation. case studies, white papers, and clinical evidence for marketing and regulatory purposes.
- Develop and deliver CME modules, workshops, and training programs for clinicians and nurses.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in clinical product training, medical writing or sales support is a plus familiarity with research-backed wound care, advance wound dressings and cleansing products
- Strong knowledge of wound healing principles and dressing techniques.
- Familiarity with Indian wound care products and cost-effective treatment options.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Strong organization, time management, and critical-thinking abilities




- Willingness to Travel within and outside Cities (minimum 15 days / month)
- Proficiency in English and regional languages for effective outreach

Key Responsibilities
1. Establish oneself as the go-to scientific expert in Critical care
2. Interpreting and disseminating results of literature with focus on establishing key Management principles in Critical care and Emergency Medicine
3. Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous evolution of scientific knowledge to effectively present the product in different healthcare environments and competitive landscape in alignment with the commercial strategy.
4. Drive awareness and adoption of best practices in Critical care in the region through execution of strategy through collaboration with societies, conférences, HCP engagement, studies, guidelines etc.
5. Provide insights from key external stakeholders to internal cross-functional stakeholders as needed to guide the Brand and Medical Plans
6. Provide clinical presentations and medical information to managed markets, government accounts, and other external stakeholders upon request and as appropriate.
7. Create or support the development protocols, and as needed and ensure the content is appropriately reviewed.
8. Advice on Medical Information activities on a proactive and as needed basis
9. To develop approved presentation material for use in presentations to HCP’s and/or internal colleagues, in support of training programs
10. Responsible for Clinical promotion of scientific evidence on high medical value products
11.



Actively and effectively participating in various internal and external clinical and scientific education programs, meetings, presentations and other forums
12. Maintains business and clinical knowledge of the critical care management landscape including current treatment strategies, current and pending competitors, and new therapeutic developments
13. Maintains clinical expertise through comprehensive education including attendance at relevant symposium, scientific workshops, and review of key journals
14. Works collaboratively with relevant internal stakeholders to identify local/regional educational gaps/needs and apply appropriate medical support that is aligned with medical strategy
15. Addresses, administrative and reporting needs on a timely basis or as requested by management

Educational qualifications

MBBS with Certificate or Diploma or MD with at least 1-year practical experience in Emergency medicine and critical care with valid Indian registration in NMC/MCI.

Additional Qualification in BLS, BTLS, ATLS, ACLS, PALS will be added advantage.

Skills and requirements

Ability to travel 50% including overnight travel for conferences, Scientific meetings and other requirements as per territory.

Robust interpersonal, communication/ relationship-building and networking skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork

Excellent analytic and problem-solving in a fast‐paced environment

Demonstrable ability to engage with customers using multi-channel approaches and platforms
