About the Role

AK Production is looking for skilled and responsible Mechanics / Service Technicians for our Bangalore and Noida locations.

The selected candidates will be responsible for installation, servicing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repair of machines/equipment at customer locations.

The role involves regular customer-site visits, technical troubleshooting and coordination with customers and the internal team to ensure timely resolution of service issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and commission machines/equipment at customer locations.
- Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Troubleshoot machine and equipment breakdowns.
- Repair or replace faulty components.
- Attend customer service calls and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct testing after installation or repair.
- Prepare and maintain service reports and records.
- Coordinate with customers and the internal team regarding service requirements.
- Properly handle and maintain service tools and equipment.
- Travel to customer locations as required.

Required Skills
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Experience in machine installation and commissioning.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of motors, sensors, wiring and basic control systems.




- Ability to use basic mechanical and electrical tools.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Customer handling and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare basic service reports.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:
- Barcode & Label Printing Machines
- Barcode / Thermal Printers
- Labeling Machines & Equipment
- Printing & Packaging Machinery
- Industrial Machinery & Equipment
- EAS / Electronic Article Surveillance Systems
- Retail / POS Equipment
- Electrical & Electronic Equipment
- Industrial Automation & Equipment

Experience 1–3 years of relevant experience as a Mechanic, Service Technician, Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician or similar technical role is preferred.

Candidates with direct experience in barcode printers, labeling machines, printing/packaging machinery or EAS systems will be preferred.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or a relevant technical field preferred.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on technical experience may also be considered.

Location Requirement Local candidates preferred.





Candidates should currently be based in or around the respective job location:

- Bangalore – 1 Position

Candidates from other cities who require relocation may not be considered for this position. Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
