We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Parts Designer with strong proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modelling using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.

The role involves designing and developing mechanical components and fabricated parts, preparing manufacturing drawings, and working closely with our production and fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Create accurate 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D CAD models
- Design mechanical components, brackets, assemblies, fabricated parts and accessories
- Prepare production-ready drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances and manufacturing details
- Develop and modify designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Create sheet-metal components, bends, flat patterns and fabrication drawings
- Prepare drawings suitable for laser cutting, CNC machining, bending, welding and fabrication
- Revise existing designs based on prototypes, production feedback and fitment requirements
- Maintain proper drawing revisions and design documentation
- Work with the production team to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Take measurements from physical components and convert them into accurate CAD models/drawings
- Assist in prototype development and product improvement

Required Skills




- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in mechanical/product design
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
- Excellent understanding of 2D engineering drawings
- Strong 3D modelling and assembly skills
- Knowledge of sheet-metal design and fabrication
- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as:
- Laser cutting
- CNC machining
- Sheet-metal bending
- Welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and create manufacturing drawings independently
- Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, fits and basic engineering principles

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:
- Automotive or motorcycle components
- Automotive accessories
- Sheet-metal products
- CNC-machined components
- Fabricated assemblies
- Reverse engineering of existing parts
- Product development and prototyping

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who is hands-on, technically strong and detail-oriented. The candidate should be capable of taking a product or component from an initial concept or physical sample to a complete 3D model and manufacturing-ready 2D drawing.

This is a practical product-development role and requires regular coordination with manufacturing and fabrication teams.
