Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Woodworking Machine Maintenance Engineer to handle the preventive and breakdown maintenance of woodworking and furniture manufacturing machinery. The candidate should have hands-on experience in machine troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and repair.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of woodworking machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize machine downtime.
- Carry out regular inspection, servicing, lubrication, and alignment of machines.
- Identify machine faults and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain machine maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve machine-related issues.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and trial runs.
- Maintain critical spare parts and coordinate with vendors for required spares.
- Ensure all machines are maintained according to safety and operational standards.

Required Skills

- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience in woodworking / furniture manufacturing machinery maintenance.
- Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance is an added advantage.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency breakdowns.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with hands-on maintenance experience in woodworking machines, modular furniture machinery, panel processing machines, CNC machines, and furniture manufacturing equipment will be preferred.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
