Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies for conveyor systems and related industrial equipment. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings, performing design calculations, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements. The role involves collaborating with production, procurement, and project teams to translate customer requirements into practical solutions, supporting prototyping,



and addressing design changes during fabrication and installation.

The engineer will also review existing designs for optimization, support troubleshooting of mechanical issues, and maintain documentation in line with company standards. This is a full-time, in office role located in the Pune Division.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
- Proficiency in Product Design, including development of mechanical components and assemblies for industrial applications.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for 2D drawings and 3D modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and basic structural/mechanical calculations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams on-site.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; experience in conveyor or material-handling equipment design is an advantage.
