Job Title: Microsoft Intune Administrator / Managed Devices Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Microsoft Intune Administrator / Managed Devices Specialist to join our IT team at TRIARQ HEALTH. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing, configuring, and managing Microsoft Intune for managing devices in a cloud-first environment. This role is critical for ensuring the secure deployment, management, and lifecycle of Microsoft-managed devices throughout our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Device Management: Administer and manage Microsoft Intune to ensure smooth onboarding, deployment, and management of Windows, iOS, and Android devices within the organization.
- Policy Configuration: Develop and implement mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) policies using Intune to enforce organizational security standards and compliance regulations.
- Security Enforcement: Monitor device compliance and implement security measures, including encryption, password policies, and remote wipe capabilities to protect organizational data.
- Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for device management issues, coordinating with end-users to resolve issues related to Intune-managed devices.
- User Training and Support: Develop user guides and provide training sessions for employees on best practices for using Intune-managed devices and applications.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate regular reports on device compliance, configuration status, and usage analytics,
providing insights to IT leadership for improving the device management strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, network operations, and application development to ensure a cohesive approach to device and data security.
- Staying Updated: Keep abreast of the latest updates and enhancements to Microsoft Intune and related technologies, applying new features to improve device management workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in IT administration, specifically with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM solutions.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM).
- Familiarity with Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems and their management in a corporate environment.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 suite and its integration with Intune.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell for scripting and automation in device management.
- Familiarity with software distribution models and application lifecycle management.
