Role Description The Manufacturing Technician role at VinFast India is a full-time, in office position based in Thoothukudi. The technician will operate and monitor production equipment, follow established manufacturing processes, and maintain clean and safe work areas, including clean rooms where applicable. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine inspections, identifying and troubleshooting equipment or process issues, and supporting quality checks to meet product specifications and safety standards.

The role also involves accurately documenting production data,



collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, and following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

The Manufacturing

Technician will work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Experience working in controlled environments or clean rooms, with attention to safety and contamination control.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, including inspection, testing, and adherence to product standards.
- Troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve basic equipment or process issues.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, supervisors, and support functions.
- Basic mechanical or technical aptitude; ability to read and interpret work instructions and production documentation.
- Prior experience in automotive, EV, or industrial manufacturing is beneficial.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or related fields preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adhere to safety, environmental, and quality guidelines.
