Key Responsibilities

- Technical Scope & Contract Compliance

1. Ensure technical scope, BOQ, specifications, and drawings are clearly defined and aligned with project requirements.
2. Align contractual terms with engineering and design intent.
3. Ensure all contracts comply with applicable technical standards, codes, and project specifications.

2. Variations, Changes & Risk Assessment
1. Manage technical variations and deviations during pre-contract and post-contract stages.
2. Assess cost, schedule, and risk impact of technical changes.
3. Support management in approval decisions with technical justification.

3. Claims, Disputes & Technical Support
1. Provide technical inputs and documentation for claims, disputes, and extra items.
2. Support preparation of technical analyses, substantiations, and back-up documents.

4. Techno-Commercial Evaluation
1. Support techno-commercial bid evaluations in coordination with commercial and procurement teams.
2. Review technical compliance of bids and clarify deviations.

Technical Documentation & Submittals
1. Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
2. Ensure submissions comply with contract specifications and approval timelines.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination
1. Coordinate between budgeting, planning, contracts, design, procurement, and site execution teams.
2. Participate in technical and contractual meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

7. Cost Optimization & Value Engineering
1. Support cost control initiatives through value engineering and technical alternatives.
2. Recommend technically sound and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.

8. Negotiation & Contract Finalization
1. Participate in and conclude final technical negotiations with contractors.
2. Support contract award and documentation closure.
