Job /summary: -

The Manager – Procurement, Supply Chain, and Export-Import will lead and oversee procurement, supply chain operations, inventory management, and export-import activities for the company. The role ensures smooth material flow, timely sourcing, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective operations to support the production and distribution of biosimilar or pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement:

- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials, packaging materials, and other essentials.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships, including negotiations for price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints and compliance standards.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders and contracts, ensuring timely approvals and execution.

2. Supply Chain Management:

- Plan and monitor the supply chain to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and avoid disruptions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D;, and quality teams to forecast material needs and plan procurement accordingly.
- Develop and maintain a reliable logistics network for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce lead times.

3. Export-Import Management:

- Handle all export-import documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, LC documentation)



to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Work closely with customs agents, freight forwarders, and government authorities to facilitate seamless import/export operations.
- Manage regulatory requirements for export and import activities, including licenses and permits.
- Optimize costs associated with freight, duties, and taxes, while ensuring timely delivery of materials.

4. Inventory Management:

- Maintain optimal inventory levels by implementing robust inventory management practices.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock movement and minimize waste.
- Establish and maintain safety stock levels to address production and distribution needs.

5. Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure all procurement, supply chain, and export-import operations adhere to applicable regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.).
- Maintain complete and accurate records for audits and inspections

Desirable Qualification and Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, and export-import management, preferably in the biosimilar or pharmaceutical industry.
