Job Overview

The role involves managing SAP SD support and leading special projects in a complex IT ecosystem where SAP ERP is integrated with multiple external systems such as GST Portal, E-way Bill, E-Invoicing, Salesforce, and 3PL applications. The position requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver scalable business solutions.

Internal: Corporate Finance, Business Finance, SCM, Marketing, GBSS, Procurement, HR

External: Auditors, External Consultants

Reporting Structure

- Reports to: Chief Manager – IT / General Manager – IT
- Team Size: Not Applicable

Qualifications

- Graduate in BCA / B.Tech / BE / BSc (Computers) with Postgraduate qualification
- MCSE Certification preferred

Experience

- 6–10 years of relevant experience in SAP SD
- Strong domain experience in industries such as Pharma, Realty, or Financial Services
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4 HANA

Technical Expertise

- Strong knowledge of SAP SD, LE, and Transportation modules
- Experience in:
- Credit Management




- Consignment Sales
- Pricing Procedures
- Third-party Sales
- STO Process
- GST / TCS rollout
- Intercompany Sales

- Cross-functional integration knowledge with FI, MM, PP, PS, WM
- 3–4 end-to-end SAP SD implementations

Core Competencies

- Design, configuration, and functional expertise in SAP SD
- Knowledge of SAP Best Practices
- Strong understanding of change management processes
- Project management skills including planning, coordination, and execution
- Ability to create and deliver end-user training and documentation
- Strong stakeholder management and multitasking ability

Preferred Skills

- SAP ECC & S/4 HANA certification (SD/LE/TM)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Focus on enhancing user experience

Key Responsibilities

- Provide SAP SD support and manage enhancements
- Configure and manage SD/LE/TM modules in ECC & S/4 HANA
- Ensure compliance with GST and TCS requirements
- Support integration with Warehouse, Transportation, and other SAP modules
- Handle export documentation processes
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver solutions
- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Develop system specifications aligned with business needs
- Ensure cost-effective and productive system solutions
