Job Overview

The role is critical in driving efficient warehouse operations through SAP WM/EWM solutions within a complex IT ecosystem. The SAP ERP system is integrated with multiple business applications, and this position focuses on delivering robust warehouse management capabilities through design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in SAP TM will be an added advantage.

Internal: Corporate Finance, Business Finance, SCM, Marketing, GBSS, Procurement, HR

External: Auditors, External Consultants

Reporting Structure

- Reports to: Chief Manager – IT / General Manager – IT
- Team Size: Not Applicable

Qualifications

- Graduate in BCA / B.Tech / BE / BSc (Computers) with Postgraduate qualification
- MCSE Certification preferred

Experience

- 8–10 years of SAP WM / EWM experience
- 3–4 end-to-end SAP WM / EWM implementations
- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA

Skills & Competencies

- Strong domain knowledge in warehouse management processes
- Expertise in SAP WM / EWM configuration and support
- Understanding of advanced EWM functionalities including:
- RF Framework
- PPF Actions
- Queue Management





- Knowledge of key processes such as:

- Inbound & Outbound processing
- Cross Docking
- Wave Management
- Kitting
- Internal Transfers
- Warehouse Order Creation Rules
- Physical Inventory
- Transfer Requests & Orders

- Cross-functional integration knowledge with SAP SD, MM, PP, and QM
- Knowledge of SAP Best Practices and warehouse optimization strategies
- Project management skills including planning, coordination, and execution
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

- SAP ECC / S/4 HANA certification (WM/EWM)
- Knowledge of SAP Transportation Management (TM)
- Robust focus on user experience and process improvement

Key Responsibilities

- Provide SAP WM / EWM support and manage system enhancements
- Configure and maintain WM / EWM modules in ECC and S/4 HANA
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, QM)
- Drive warehouse process optimization and operational efficiency
- Lead and support project implementation activities
- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Develop functional specifications aligned with business needs
- Prepare and deliver end-user training and documentation
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
- Stay updated with latest trends and innovations in SAP WM / EWM
