Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Project Management, Planning, Documentation & Engineering to oversee key aspects of civil engineering, architectural planning, site execution, MEP and design coordination across large-scale warehouse, infrastructure, EPC, commercial, and fitout projects. The ideal candidate will possess over 14 years of robust experience in the construction industry, including significant expertise in underground metro rail systems, cargo terminals, high-rise buildings, and site development.
This role bridges the gap between detailed engineering design, material procurement, contractor/vendor management, and site execution to ensure project deliverables meet stringent cost, quality, and time metrics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning, Scheduling & Monitoring
- Develop and track work completion schedules, resource requirement plans, and progress milestones to ensure timely project delivery and client handover.
- Prepare/Review project layouts, site survey plans, site level plans, and execution schedules aligned with technical drawings.
- Monitor site activity, conduct weekly progress and design review meetings, and eliminate site bottlenecks.
2. Engineering Design & Coordination
- Review project contracts, scopes of work, architectural inputs, tender documents, and specifications.
- Act as a primary technical liaison between internal stakeholders, Detail Design Consultants (DDC), contractors, system-wise contractors, and internal execution teams.
- Manage design inception, submission drawings, shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawing and checklists records.
- Prepare and review Design Basis Requirements (DBR) and Method Statements for architectural/civil scope items.
3. Commercials, Billing & Estimation
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for tender floating, material finalizations, bill verification and certification and issuing COP etc.
- Oversee contractor and client billing processes, vendor invoice approvals, and cross-check material reconciliation against store records.
- Review and analyze estimation costs, material requirements, and supply procurement schedules.

Site Execution, Material Selection & Quality Assurance
- Direct site operations for civil works, Piling works, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), RCC framed structures, block work, plastering, waterproofing, and high-end finishing (e.g., granite/Kota flooring, false ceilings, SS/glass cladding).
- Lead material selection and finalize finishing materials in coordination with internal stakeholders; verify material quality during site arrival.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality checks across civil, architectural, and MEP integration works.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech / B.E.): Civil Engineering (or AMIE certification equivalent) with a strong academic record.
- Diploma / Certification: Diploma in Architectural Assistantship or relevant drafting/architectural qualifications.
- Experience: Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 8 years in warehouse/ office fitouts/cargo or major infra projects.
Software & Technical Proficiency:
- CAD Tools: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2024/2026) for drawing generation, review, and modifications.
- Office Applications: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint for reporting, cost estimation, and presentations.
- Core Competencies: BOQ Preparation, Site Surveys, Method Statements, Quality Assurance, Material Reconciliation, Procurement, and Contractor Billing.
Personal & Behavioural Characteristics:
- Solid cross-functional team management and site team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication skills for managing client relations, consultants, and contractors.
- Analytical problem-solving ability to address design conflicts and site constraints.
