Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager – Finance, Supply Chain & Procurement to oversee the company's financial operations, procurement activities, supply chain management, inventory control, and export-import functions. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in finance and accounting, coupled with hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain operations within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biosimilar industry.

This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and uninterrupted supply of materials to support manufacturing and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance & Accounting
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
2. Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide recommendations for business improvement.
3. Support management with financial insights for strategic decision-making.
4. Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cash flow planning.

1. Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance

1. Manage cost accounting related to biosimilar and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
2. Monitor and analyze production costs, inventory valuation, raw material consumption, and R&D; expenditures.
3. Ensure accurate costing of products and maintain cost control mechanisms.
4. Collaborate with production, procurement, and operations teams to optimize manufacturing costs.

1. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

1. Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, including GST/VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate taxation requirements.
2. Prepare and file statutory returns accurately and within stipulated timelines.

Monitor changes in financial and regulatory requirements impacting the pharmaceutical and biosimilar sector.

1. Audit & Internal Controls

1. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems.
3. Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and industry regulations.

1. Working Capital Management

1. Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
2. Monitor cash flow, collections, vendor payments, and working capital requirements.
3. Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and resolution of financial discrepancies.

1. Procurement & Supply Chain Management
1. Strategic Procurement

1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, equipment, and services.
2. Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
3. Manage procurement budgets and achieve cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or compliance.

1. Supply Chain Operations

1. Plan and coordinate supply chain activities to ensure uninterrupted procurement of materials.
2. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, R&D;, and regulatory teams to forecast demand and plan procurement.
3. Optimize inventory levels while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.

Develop and improve supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency.

1. Inventory Management

1. Establish and maintain inventory control systems and safety stock levels.
2. Conduct periodic inventory audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
3. Monitor inventory movement and implement measures to reduce waste and obsolescence.

1. Export-Import & Logistics Management
1. Manage import and export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and regulatory compliance.
2. Ensure timely procurement and shipment of materials and products.
3. Coordinate with customs brokers, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities.
4. Optimize transportation, freight, duties, and logistics costs while maintaining service levels.
5. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

- Compliance & Documentation

1. Ensure procurement, supply chain, finance, and logistics activities comply with applicable regulations, including GMP, FDA, EMA, ISO, and other relevant standards.
2. Maintain complete documentation and records to support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and supply chain functions.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Education
1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
2. MBA (Finance/Supply Chain) or Master's Degree preferred.

- Experience

1. 5–10 years of progressive experience in finance, procurement, supply chain, and export-import operations.
2. Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biosimilar, or regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
3. Experience managing manufacturing cost accounting and inventory valuation is essential.
