About the team The Competitiveness & Transformation Manager drives strategic initiatives focused on improving cost competitiveness, operational efficiency, industrialization, digital transformation, and business performance across Castrol's Supply Chain network. The Manager supports Performance Units (PUs) globally and works closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Technology, and business leadership teams to deliver sustainable value and transformation outcomes.

Key tasks

- Lead or support Competitiveness & Transformation projects within assigned Performance Units to improve business performance and supply chain competitiveness.
- Support the execution of Product Cost Competitiveness (PCC), Operational Cost Competitiveness (OCC), Industrialization, Digitalization, and Automation initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and develop a continuous pipeline of transformation and value creation opportunities.
- Drive project execution, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, milestones, budgets, and value targets.




- Apply project management best practices to manage risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and governance requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve alignment and maximize project success across the organization.
- Collaborate with regional and global C&T; teams to ensure effective project handover, knowledge sharing, and continuity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project performance, track value delivery, and provide regular reporting to leadership and governance forums.

Experience Required

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline.
- 13+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Operations Excellence, Business Transformation, or Continuous Improvement environments.
- Proven experience delivering cross-functional projects with measurable business or operational impact.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in agile working environments and applying agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement cost optimization, process improvement, or transformation opportunities.
- Experience working with multiple business functions including Supply Chain, Procurement, Technology, and Commercial teams.




- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and change management skills in a complex, matrixed organization.
