Role & responsibilities

- Role Title: Business Development Manager / Assistant Manager/ (Rental Division)
- Experience Required: 8 to 20 years in B2B service sales (Heavy machinery rentals, crane hire, fleet services, or industrial logistics).
- Job Location: Raipur Chhattisgarh, Mumbai Maharashtra (with travel).
- Job Type: Full-time.
- Strategic Business Growth: Formulate and execute sales strategies to acquire high-value rental contracts across green energy, factories, construction, mining, power plants, and infrastructure sectors.
- Key Account Management: Build and nurture high-level relationships with major contractors, corporate clients, procurement heads, and project managers.
- Fleet Optimization: Monitor fleet availability and strategically secure deployments to minimize crane downtime and maximize overall rental revenue.
- Site Assessment & Solutioning: Lead site visits for complex projects to evaluate lifting requirements (weight, radius, height, ground conditions) and propose optimum, cost-effective crane models.
- Commercial Closures: Oversee the end-to-end bidding, quotation, and commercial negotiation processes,



including drafting complex long-term rental agreements.
- Operations Liaison: Coordinate seamlessly with operations, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth crane mobilization, demobilization, and high operator efficiency.
- Market Expansion: Analyze market trends, competitor rental rates, and upcoming infrastructure tenders to identify fresh regional market opportunities.

Receivables Management: Ensure timely billing and follow up closely with clients to manage collections and maintain healthy cash flow.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

Mandatory: Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Desirable: An MBA with a technical background in mechanical engineering is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:

820 years of proven track record in B2B corporate sales, specifically within crane hiring, heavy equipment rental, infrastructure projects, or heavy logistics.
