We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in Windows Administration and VMware technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to Windows environments and VMware infrastructure. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and VMware virtualization platforms.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, connectivity, and application functionality.

- Monitor and maintain the health of Windows servers and VMware environments.

- Implement and manage system updates, patches, and security configurations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.

- Document technical processes, procedures, and solutions for future reference.

- Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.

- Provide training and support to end-users on Windows and VMware best practices.

- Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong expertise in Windows Administration,



including Active Directory, Group Policy, and server management.

- Proficient in VMware technologies, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.

- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving Windows-related issues.

- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.

- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.

- Certifications in Windows or VMware technologies (e.g., MCSA, VCP) are a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5-7 years of experience in technical support or system administration roles.

- Proven track record of managing and supporting Windows and VMware environments.
