Role Description The Logistics Coordinator – Imports is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing end-to-end import logistics for luxury furniture. This role includes coordinating with international suppliers and shipping partners, preparing and tracking import documentation, and ensuring timely clearance through customs and regulatory bodies. The coordinator will monitor shipment schedules, manage inventory updates, and align inbound logistics with project timelines and customer delivery requirements.
Daily tasks involve maintaining accurate records, resolving shipment or delivery issues,
communicating with internal teams and customers on order status, and supporting continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to track shipments, analyze logistics data, and optimize import processes.
- Excellent Communication abilities for coordinating with suppliers, logistics partners, internal teams, and customers.
- Knowledge of import procedures & documentation, customs regulations, and international shipping.
- Prior experience of 2-3 years in logistics, imports, , preferably in furniture, luxury goods, or related industries.
- Proficiency with MS Excel is mandatory.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
