Role Purpose

This role is intended for a specialized export logistics qualified, The Logistics Executive will be responsible for end-to-end export execution of engineering goods and equipment, with strong hands-on exposure to export documentation, Incoterms, customs clearance, and coordination with multiple external agencies.

Key Responsibilities – Export Operations

- Manage end to end export logistics for engineering goods, machinery, fabricated items, and project equipment.
- Handle exports to Africa, Middle East, Europe, or other international markets.
- Plan shipments based on cargo nature (breakbulk / containerized / ODC) and project timelines.

Incoterms & Commercial Understanding

- Execute shipments as per agreed Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR, DAP, etc.).
- Ensure correct allocation of cost, risk, and responsibility.

Export Documentation

- Commercial Invoice and Packing List (including dimensions and weights).
- Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading / AWB.
- Certificate of Origin / GSP and insurance documents.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.

Customs & External Coordination

- Liaise with Customs Clearing Agents (CHA) for clearance activities.




- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, cargo companies, and transporters.
- Resolve customs queries and clearance issues.

Shipment Execution & Tracking

- Monitor cargo movement from factory to port and shipment departure.
- Provide shipment status updates to stakeholders.

Compliance & Improvement

- Ensure compliance with export regulations, DGFT norms, and internal SOPs.
- Propose process improvements for efficiency and standardization.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 10–12 years in export logistics of engineering goods or equipment.
- Exposure to Africa, Middle East, or Europe exports.
- Graduation in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

- Ability to handle complex and timecritical shipments.
