Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - ACCOUNTS

Job Summary -

We are looking for a detail-oriented RTR professional to manage general ledger reviews, statutory reconciliations (GST and TDS), and month-end reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong hands on experience in GST return reconciliations and be proficient in Excel for reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger (GL) Review

Perform periodic GL scrutiny to identify discrepancies, misclassifications, and unusual entries Ensure accuracy of trial balance and support month-end/year-end closing activities Review and clear open items, suspense accounts, and unreconciled balances Coordinate with business teams to resolve GL-related queries

GST Reconciliation

Reconcile GSTR-1 (outward supplies) with sales register/books of accounts Reconcile GSTR-2B (input tax credit) with purchase register and identify mismatches with vendors Reconcile GSTR-3B with GSTR-1 and 2B, and books of accounts for monthly filing accuracy Support annual GST reconciliation (GSTR-9/9A/9C) including preparation of reconciliation statements and working papers Follow up with vendors/internal teams on ITC mismatches and take corrective action

TDS Reconciliation





Reconcile TDS receivable/payable with Form 26AS/TRACES and books of accounts Ensure timely identification and resolution of TDS mismatches Support TDS return filing coordination and compliance tracking

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare MIS reports, reconciliation summaries, and variance analysis using Excel Build and maintain pivot tables, lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), and summary dashboards for management reporting Support internal/statutory audit requirements with schedules and reconciliations

Required Skills

Strong working knowledge of GL accounting and month-end close process covering BRs, Inter Division Reco, AR Close etc

Practical experience in GSTR-1, 2B, 3B, and 9/9A reconciliations

Valuable understanding of TDS provisions and reconciliation with Form 26AS Advanced Excel skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis

Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally, as applicable) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Good communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors Qualification & Experience

MBA (Finance) or Inter CA

4–5 years of relevant experience in RTR/GL/Compliance function, preferably in a shared services or corporate finance environment
