The role

We're looking for a Link Building & Off-Page SEO Executive. You'll build high-quality authority for our clients' websites and manage their Google Search Console health.

More and more searches now end in an AI-generated answer. You'll help clients earn the brand mentions and citations that get them featured in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. This is called Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Content writing and on-page SEO are handled by other team members. Your focus is off-page authority and GSC.

What you'll do

Link building

- Plan and run white-hat link building strategies for each client, based on their industry, competitors and goals
- Find relevant, high-authority websites and run personalised outreach for guest posts, niche edits and collaborations
- Share placement requirements with our content team and track every guest post until it goes live
- Build and maintain local citations and business listings (JustDial, IndiaMART, Sulekha, industry directories)
- Analyse competitor backlink profiles to find gaps and opportunities
- Keep up with Google's spam policies and make sure every link is safe and relevant





GEO (off-page)

- Earn brand mentions on the sources AI tools rely on: industry publications, news sites, "best of" lists, review platforms, and communities like Reddit and Quora
- Regularly check how client brands appear in AI answers for key searches, and report changes
- Track AI referral traffic in GA4

Google Search Console

- Monitor indexing, page coverage and crawl issues, and flag fixes to the on-page team
- Track clicks, impressions, CTR and average position, and spot drops early
- Review backlink profiles, manage disavow files when needed, and watch for manual actions
- Submit and maintain sitemaps
- Prepare monthly off-page and GSC reports for each client

What we're looking for

Must-have

- 2+ years of hands-on link building experience, with examples of links you've earned
- Good working knowledge of Google Search Console
- Experience with at least one backlink tool (Ahrefs, Semrush or Moz)
- A explicit grasp of white-hat vs black-hat methods (no PBNs, link farms or bulk spam)
- Strong written English for outreach emails and follow-ups
- Well organised, able to manage several client projects and track outreach carefully
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline

Nice to have

- Digital PR experience, or mentions earned in news or industry publications
- Familiarity with GEO and tools for tracking brand visibility in AI search
- GA4 experience
- Agency experience with Indian clients

Working details

- Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Pune-based candidates preferred)
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, from the office
- Saturday: work from home
- Salary: INR 3.6 – 4.2 LPA
