Job Opening: Electricity Pole Technicians / Power line workers

We are seeking skilled Electricity Pole Technicians to join our team. The role involves working on low and medium-voltage distribution power networks (up to 22,000 volts) and includes tasks performed at height.

Responsibilities

- Maintenance, repair, and installation of low and medium-voltage distribution networks (up to 22,000 volts).
- Inspecting and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency
- Performing tasks at height using appropriate safety equipment
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Adhering to all safety regulations and company protocols

Requirements:

- Knowledge of low and medium distribution power network topology (up to 22.000 VOLTS)
- Proven ability to work safely at height (certification in height safety is a plus)




- Minimum 2 years of experience in low and medium-voltage distribution networks (up to 22,000 volts)
- Familiarity with the tools, equipment, and materials used in power network maintenance
- Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor environments under various weather conditions

Preferred (not necessary) Qualifications:

- Technical School degree or post-secondary diploma in electrical studies
- Certification in working on low and medium-voltage networks (up to 22.000 VOLTS)
- Certification in height safety
- A valid truck driver’s license is an advantage
- Additional certifications in electrical safety and maintenance
- Experience with specialized equipment, such as pole-mounted transformers and aerial lifts
