Role Overview We are looking for a Legal Intern to work closely with the company's legal, corporate, business, product, and operational functions.

The role provides practical exposure to corporate law, commercial contracts, technology law, intellectual property, privacy, compliance, employment documentation, regulatory research, and legal operations within an early-stage technology company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate & Commercial Legal

- Assist with corporate legal research and documentation.
- Research applicable provisions under Indian corporate and commercial laws.
- Assist with preparation and review of business documentation.
- Support corporate governance and statutory documentation.
- Research issues relating to companies, shareholders, directors, investments, and corporate structures.
- Assist in maintaining organised legal records.

1. Contract Drafting & Review

Assist with preparing, reviewing, and analysing:
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Internship Agreements
- Employment Agreements
- Vendor Agreements
- Service Agreements
- Partnership Agreements
- Collaboration Agreements
- Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs)
- Licensing Agreements
- Terms & Conditions
- Statements of Work
- IP Assignment Agreements

Identify important provisions relating to scope, obligations, confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, indemnification, termination, dispute resolution, governing law, and compliance.

1. Technology & Product Law





Research legal considerations affecting technology products such as:
- Software platforms
- Mobile applications
- Artificial intelligence
- Robotics
- Hardware products
- Digital platforms
- Online communities
- User-generated content
- Digital transactions
- Data-driven products

Assist product teams in identifying legal considerations during product development.
1. Intellectual Property

Work on legal research and documentation relating to:
- Trademarks
- Copyright
- Patents
- Trade secrets
- Software IP
- Brand protection
- Licensing
- IP ownership
- Employee and contractor IP assignment
- Technology commercialization

Assist in maintaining an organised IP and brand asset register.

1. Data Protection & Privacy

Research emerging requirements concerning:
- Data protection
- User consent
- Privacy policies
- Data collection
- Data processing
- Data retention
- Children's data
- Cross-border data considerations
- Cybersecurity obligations
- Platform privacy

Assist in reviewing privacy-related documentation for products including PopPop, Oneevolution, and PopBud.

1. Regulatory Research

Conduct structured legal research on regulations relevant to the company's businesses. This may include research involving:
- Technology regulations
- E-commerce
- Consumer protection
- Digital platforms
- Artificial intelligence
- Robotics
- Electronics and hardware
- Employment regulations
- Advertising and marketing compliance
- Startup regulations
- Sector-specific regulatory frameworks

1. Legal Research & Case Analysis

- Research statutes, rules, regulations, notifications, circulars, and judicial decisions.
- Prepare concise legal research memoranda.
- Analyse relevant case law.
- Track regulatory developments.
- Convert complex legal information into clear internal summaries.

1. Employment & HR Legal Documentation

Work with HR on legal aspects of:
- Employment agreements
- Internship agreements
- NDAs
- Confidentiality obligations
- IP assignment
- Employee policies
- Workplace documentation




- Contractor agreements
- Exit documentation

1. Legal Due Diligence

Assist with preliminary legal due diligence relating to:
- Investors
- Partnerships
- Vendors
- Technology providers
- Strategic collaborations
- Intellectual property
- Corporate documentation

Organise documents and identify potential legal issues for senior review.
1. Legal Operations

Help establish structured systems for:
- Contract repositories
- Legal document tracking
- Agreement renewal dates
- Regulatory trackers
- IP registers
- Compliance calendars
- Legal research databases
- Standard templates
- Legal SOPs

- Pursuing LLB / BBA LLB / BA LLB / equivalent legal education
- Strong in legal research and writing

- Solid in drafting and documentation

What You Will Learn You will gain practical exposure to how legal functions operate inside a technology startup, including contracts, corporate documentation, intellectual property, technology regulation, privacy, compliance, legal research, and business negotiations.

You will also work across the company's different product functions, giving you exposure to the intersection of law, technology, entrepreneurship, product development, and business strategy.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
