Role Description This is a full time, on-site Lead Mechanical Design role based in Ghaziabad.

The Lead Mechanical

Design professional will oversee the design and development of ground support equipment, translating technical requirements into robust mechanical solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing detailed CAD models and drawings, performing design analyses, coordinating with manufacturing and inspection teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The role involves leading design reviews, managing design iterations, supporting maintenance strategies for existing equipment,



and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

The Lead Mechanical

Design professional will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and lifecycle reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in design for aerospace, automotive, or heavy equipment applications.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and ability to create, interpret, and validate complex mechanical drawings and models.
- Experience in Maintenance and Inspection of mechanical systems, with a focus on reliability, safety, and root-cause analysis.
- Exposure to Automotive or similar mechanical systems, including understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical assemblies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to lead design projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and mentor less-experienced team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality practices.
- Effective communication skills and ability to document designs, calculations, and technical decisions clearly.
